JoJo's Chicken Stand

As part of her upcoming quest into kindergarten (home school- style), we are helping her do some entrepreneurial exploration.  She is currently in charge of our chickens, baby chicks, and eggs at the farm, and decided to set up a “stand.”  (The thought of a Lemonade stand bored her).  She will deliver when possible or can leave the items at the farm (Lachlan side).  There is a $5 delivery charge for all orders.  Email for more info!

Currently available:

Hens- These are proven brown egg layers that are about a year in age.  They are easy to handle when necessary and lay a high volume of brown eggs. 

• Rhode Island Red Hen ("Henny Penny")    $20                          

• Rhode Island Red Hen ("Chicken Little")    $20                         

• Rhode Island Red Hen w/chicks ("Chicken Little")   $30         

• Black Australorp/Ameraucana Pullets (2 available)    $10 each          

• Black Australorp/Ameraucana Cockerel (1 available)   $8        

• Silver? Ameraucana Pullet (1 available)    $15                             

Chicks- These guys were born 5/14/11 and are precious!  They are with momma now, and are easy to catch and handle (with Chicken Little not watching).  I have not sexed these little guys but can do so upon request.

 Taking Pre-Orders Only:

•  1-2 day old chicks       $3 each for mixed breeds  and $5 each for Ameraucanas

• Fertilized eggs ready to incubate.  You'll be given a few extra depending on the size of your order.We cannot guarantee hatching, just fertilization.  If proper care is given, you'll have a high hatch rate!  

Mixed breed eggs (Ameraucana X Rhode Island Red or Ameraucana X Black Australorp)    $1 each or $5 for half dozen. 

Ameraucana (Buff X Silver duck tail)$3 each or $15 for half dozen

• Good old fashioned fresh, free-range eggs for eatin'.  Please note, we do not wash our eggs before getting them to you (washing eggs too soon will wash the bloom or protective layer off).  Make sure you wash each egg just prior to use.
  

Mixed Lot of brown and blue/green $5/dozen, $4.50/dozen (w/carton), $4/ half dozen, $3.50/half dozen (w/carton). 

All brown add $0.50/ half dozen and $1/dozen. 

All blue/green add $1/half and $2/dozen.
